Working on renewable energy systems, we kept running into the same problem: valuable systems with little or no visibility into how they actually perform.

Two years to plan one project
With no data on the existing system, a developer needed three rounds of calculations before the project could finally be planned.

Net zero by spreadsheet
A site proved its net-zero status because someone read the power meter every night and typed it into a spreadsheet.

Sites without an operator present ran unattended, with no optimisation at all.
